5-star recruit Ron Holland decommits from Texas

Texas signee and five-star recruit Ron Holland has decommitted from Texas and requested a launch from his Nationwide Letter of Intent, per his social media Friday. Holland is opening his recruitment and can proceed to think about Texas.

Holland is the No. 6 recruit within the 2023 class, per the 247Sports Composite. A 6-8 wing from Duncanville, Johnson was one in all two high-profile recruits in Texas’ 2023 freshman class.
